WHAT DOES SILA MEAN?
STUDIO ETIQUETTE
- Thank you for being on time for class! Doors typically open 10-15 minutes prior to the class start time.
- Please check in at the front desk or with your instructor.
- We ask that you keep all personal belongings (handbags, shoes, etc.) in the front cubbies (we lock our doors).
- We are are barefoot studio, though socks or indoor only shoes are welcome - street shoes are not allowed.
- Our studios are cell phone free zones: in the event that you need to bring your device in, please switch it into "do not disturb" mode and take any calls outside.

Find our schedule online and choose any class that works for you! If you're just getting into fitness, Pilates Mat I, Vinyasa Yoga I, and Release & Restore are great options. All classes are led by certified instructors, who show modifications for every fitness level. Please arrive 5 minutes in advance so we can introduce you to your instructor! All of our classes are meant to be done barefoot (You are welcome to wear indoor only shoes to any class). We have amazing matted floors that support the body during our classes.

DO I NEED A YOGA MAT?
No, we supply yoga mats, weights, blocks, and any other equipment you'll need at no charge. If you have a yoga mat you love and want to use, you are more than welcome to bring it!

RESERVATIONS AND CANCELLATIONS
THE MINDBODY APP IS NOT ALLOWING ME TO REGISTER FOR CLASSES, WHY IS THAT?
- The class may be full. Once the class and the waitlist are full, the app and online schedule will no longer offer the option to register. However, cancellations do occur! Add yourself to the waitlist or check back to see if there is an opening at a later date.
- MINDBODY only allows you to sign up for classes 30 days in advance, so you may be trying to sign up for classes outside of that window.
- Did you just join as a member? If so, the system will only allow you to sign up for classes after your membership payment has been processed. If you need to pro-rate your membership to an earlier date, simply email us.
- If the MINDBODY app isn't recognizing your "pass", it is likely because your app account and internal Sila account have not synced. In order for this to work, both need the same email address and first and last name (they have to match perfectly). On the app, go to Profile - Passes and click "Missing one of your passes?" and follow instructions. You can also go to Profile - Settings - and click the "Resend account confirmation email" to receive emailed instructions.

When a spot opens in the class, you'll be immediately notified that your reservation has been confirmed via automated email. Yay! If you cannot take the class/session, please cancel your reservation so someone else can be moved into the class/session.

CLASS CANCELLATION POLICIES
- Group Fitness Classes: Must be canceled at least 12 hours before the class start time. A $15 late fee applies for cancellations made within 12 hours. A $25 no-show fee applies if you do not cancel and do not attend the class.
- Personal Training, Private Gymnastics, Small Group Pilates Reformer, and Special Events: Must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance. Missed sessions or late cancellations will be deducted from your account.
We understand that life can be unpredictable. If you experience an unexpected illness, injury, or emergency, please contact us within 24 hours to manage your reservations and prevent additional fees. You may call the studio and leave a message or email us anytime.
CANCELLATIONS DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER
When winter storms, tornados or other major events are forecast, we try our best to communicate any weather related closures 8-12 hours prior to a class. If a storm is becoming worse than anticipated, we may cancel class up to an hour prior. Class cancellations will always be reflected in Mindbody.

IF I BECOME A VIP 2 OR 3 MEMBER, HOW DO THE SMALL GROUP SESSIONS WORK?
When your membership dues are processed on the first of the month, your small group sessions are automatically added to your account and become available for immediate use. These sessions do not roll over or accumulate.

GUEST PASSES
Guest passes are accrued quarterly and do not roll over from year to year. To redeem a guest pass; simply let front desk know you'd like to bring a guest to your next class, or email [email protected] to reserve their spot.

WHAT IS THE MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION POLICY?
Going on an extended vacation, or have family matters to take care of? You can freeze your membership once a year for 30, 60, or 90 days. If you need to cancel or freeze your membership, simply stop by the front desk or email [email protected] to request an electronic form. There are no cancellation fees.
